We're partnering with the City of Phoenix to offer beginner's clinics at Buffalo Ridge Park, near the intersection of the Loop 101 and AZ-51 in North Phoenix. The park is a nice open space nestled between the neighborhoods and freeways of the area. It includes hiking trails, a baseball diamond, basketball courts, and a 27-hole disc golf course. We will periodically offer our introduction to orienteering clinics at the park. After learning the basics of navigating with a map and compass, we'll send participants on a short course around the park. The course simulates navigation in the open desert without having to travel far from home. We hope you'll join us at Buffalo Ridge Park or at one of our other events in the Phoenix area.
