Heritage Park is a beautiful open space next to Willow Creek Reservoir and the Granite Dells in Prescott, AZ. In addition to a small zoo, softball fields, and a soccer field, the park has access to 10's of miles of mountain bike trails and hiking paths. Hiking through the rugged rocks of the Granite Dells is especially interesting. A visit to Heritage Park is well worth your time. We hope you'll join us for one of our navigation events in the park.

Note: Heritage Park Day-Use Parking Pass: $3.00.
There is a fee of $3.00 per vehicle to park in Heritage Park. You pay the fee at kiosks inside the park. You can also purchase a year parking pass here.

Traditional Directions

    From the south, from downtown Prescott:
  • Starting at the intersection of Gurley Street and Montezuma Street,
    travel north on Montezuma street 1.0 miles. At this point, Montezuma Street
    veers to the west and turns into Whipple Street.
  • Continue 0.7 miles on Whipple Street to Willow Creek Road.
  • Turn right (north) on Willow Creek Road and drive 4.9 miles to Heritage Park Road.
  • Turn right (east) onto Heritage Park Road, then immediately right (south) onto Heritage Park Creek.
  • Continue 0.3 miles on Heritage Park Creek, stay right and continue another 0.2 miles to the Willow Lake boat ramp. Look for the orange and white orienteering signs.
    From the Southeast, from Cordes Junction:
  • Travel on I-17 to Cordes Junction (exit 263).
  • Take exit 263 and stay left to travel on AZ-69 towards Prescott.
  • Travel 22.5 miles on AZ-69 to Fain Road.
  • Turn right (north) onto Fain Road. Continue 14.5 miles on Fain Road/US-89A/Pioneer Parkway to Willow Creek Road. (The three roadways have the appearance of a single route, not three separate routes.)
  • Turn left (south) on Willow Creek Road. Continue 1.0 miles to Heritage Park Road.
  • Turn left (east) onto Heritage Park Road, then immediately right (south) onto Heritage Park Creek.
  • Continue 0.3 miles on Heritage Park Creek, stay right and continue another 0.2 miles to the Willow Lake boat ramp. Look for the orange and white orienteering signs.
