Robbins Butte Orienteering Results
January 10, 2015

It was a nice, cloudy and cool day (with even a bit of rain) for running the Classic courses. We had a total of 33 orienteers out on the four courses. The "Uh-O" format may have slowed down one or two folks a bit, but there were no mispunches--so congratulations everyone for finding the right controls! Both the Green and Red courses were on the long side, so some folks didn't have enough time to complete the course and had to take a "DNF" (Did Not Finish).

In total there were 63 controls spread across the map , so it was very tempting to go and check out some of the nearby controls.

To see Ron Birks' winning GPS track on the Red course, download the Red track file. His track is a magenta color. Note that some of the nearby "dummy" controls (that didn't appear on the Red map) are shown as a green circle.

To see the Green course winning GPS track (team "Bock and Roll") download the Green track file. As with the Red map, some of the nearby "dummy" controls (that didn't appear on the Green map) are shown as a green circle. Bock and Roll's track is shown as a magenta line, and Debra Allen's track is shown as a green line.
