WriteupWe had 5 participants in the Beginners' clinic and 15 participants for the Sprints. "Sprints" may have been a misnomer as a few of the controls proved to be a challenge, and average course times were on the order of 40 - 60 minutes. Josh Rziha was our newest course setter, as he is earning his way toward a Boy Scout merit badge in orienteering. All 15 participants completed his Loop 1 course. Kudos to Ann Kominski, a first timer at the Beginners' clinic who then successfully completed the Loop 1 course--we hope to see her and others at future events! |
