Located on the shores of Bartlett Lake, our SB Cove event site is our newest location at one of the most scenic sites in the Phoenix area. Bartlett Lake is a surprising gem in the middle of the dry desert. The hills and drainages around the lake provide many challenges for our navigation events. The entire area has incredible views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. We hope you get a chance to join us for one of our events at the lake.

Directions
Bartlett Lake is located in the Tonto National Forest east of Carefree, AZ.
To get to the event site:

From the Intersection of Pima Road and East Cave Creek Road:

Travel east on East Cave Creek Road for 4.2 miles to the junction with Bartlett Dam Road.

Turn right onto Bartlett Dam Road. Continue east on Bartlett Dam road for ~13 miles to the turnoff for North Bartlett Dam Road (FS Road 459, turnoff for "Rattlesnake Cove"). Turn left onto North Bartlett Dam Road.

Continue on North Bartlett Dam Road for 3.6 miles to the end of the pavement. Note that the end of the paved road is ~0.5 miles after the North Bartlett Dam road completes a 180° turn to the south.
