Northern Arizona University
Safety Plan
|
Northern Arizona University is a Division I university located in Flagstaff, Arizona. With it's location at the base of Humphrey's Peak, NAU is the second highest Division I school in the U.S. (after the campus at the University of Wyoming). Orienteering participants coming from lower elevations will likely feel the affects of running at ~7000 feet, but they'll also benefit from the cooler temperatures and beautiful mountain vistas. We hope you'll consider joining us for some navigation fun on the NAU campus. |
DirectionsThe NAU campus is fairly expansive. The club uses several start/finish lolcations for orienteering events. The event details will indicate the start/finish location. Additional information is included below. ParkingPlease note that parking on NAU campus is not free. A visitor parking permit costs $7 for the day. You can get a paper permit using the parking kiosk at the south-east corner of the Walkup Skydome (P66). You can also get a virtual parking permit by creating a guest account here. Huffer Lane Parking Lot (P61)The Huffer Lane parking lot is located just northeast of the intersection of Pine Knoll Drive, and Huffer Lane. The lot is normally an employee only lot. The club gets special permission to stage events and allow participants to park in this lot. Google Map PlacemarkGoogle Maps Custom Instructions
