It turned out to be a rather chilly start to the day, with a temperature of 34 degrees as the final controls were being set for race day. The morning was mostly cloudy and breezy, with a few rays of sunshine as the temperature crept up to the low 60's. We had a total of 26 orienteers competing on the 3-hour score-o course. Two orienteers (Ron Birks and Erik Ringnes) managed to find all 36 controls within the time limit, followed closely by Andy Wentzel and Mike Minium.
