A very wintery day (at least for May) which kept the course cool, with a few scattered showers. The JOM-O format (40 controls packed into a ~7 square km area) favored the foot orienteers. Andy Wentzel and Ron Birks collected all 40 controls on foot, while "T&A" found that it took a lot of bike porting to collect all the controls within the 4 hour limit. A total of 14 entries / 19 orienteers participated in the race (2 individuals and two teams were on bikes). |
