Introduction

We hope you'll consider joining us as we move to cooler temperatures in the forests around Flagstaff. On Saturday, June 15, we'll present two events: a 3-Hour Score-O and a 2-Hour Night-O. Participants in the Score-O will start together in a mass start at 5:00 PM and have 3 hours to find as many controls as they can. Participants in the Night-O will start together in a mass start at 8:00 PM and will have 2 hours to find as many controls as they can. Those feeling more energetic or those who would like a bigger challenge can combine the two events into a Motala. Motala participants will start together with the mass starts at 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, but will have their scores totalled together for their final ranking.

Fort Tuthill County Park is a wonderful open space just south of Flagstaff. The park has numerous facilities including horse obstacles, a disc golf course, camping, the Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Park (ziplines, ropes), a bike obstacle park, and miles of hiking trails in the pine forest in the park. The terrain is hilly but not too steep. For those making the trip from Phoenix, the temperatures are especially appealing. We hope to see you at our June 15 events.
