Events
Please join us as we offer another day of orienteering fun at our Robbins Butte event site southwest of Buckeye. On Sunday, February 16, we'll present a 3-hour Score-O. During the Score-O, participants try to find as many destination markers and they can in the 3-hour time limit. There is no prescribed course to follow. Participants visit as many or as few markers as they can.
The terrain around Robbins Butte is mostly open desert with few spiny plants. While the west part of the map is more rocky with some hills and cliffs, the vegetation throughout is sparse. The desert around Robbins Butte is runnable. On all parts of the map, terrain visibility is excellent. Water is available at the timer's table. We advise participants to bring their own water.
