Introduction

We hope you'll join us for another exciting day of orienteering in the Phoenix area. On Saturday, February 7, we're presenting a 3-hour Score-O at our Buckeye Hills event site southwest of Buckeye, AZ. We'll also include a shorter point-to-point beginner's course for those wanting a less aggressive outing. The start/finish for the event is the County Circle parking area in the Buckeye Hills Regional Park, approximately 13 miles south of I-10 exit 112, just off AZ-85. The terrain includes drainages, hills, and sparse vegetation in the Lower Sonoran Desert. The area is mostly runnable, with some rocky, hilly areas that could slow you down. We hope you'll consider joining us for another day of navigation fun in the Phoenix area.
