Introduction

We're excited to offer another new event on our calendar. On Sunday, December 15, we're presenting a 2-hour Score-O at a new location: the Pebble Beach Recreation Area, just east of milepost 29 on the Bush Highway, just west of Saguaro Lake. Pebble Beach is a popular site for summertime fun on the Salt River. The site is much less crowded in December. The area around the recreation area is a mixture of fairly flat drainages and hilly desert terrain. The views around the Salt River are quite spectacular with cliffs rising 400+ feet above the surrounding desert. We highly recommend spending time in the area during the summer when throngs of locals float the river to beat the summer heat.

The course at Pebble Beach opens at 8:00 AM. The last time to start the course is at 9:00 AM. We'll close the course and start picking up controls at 11:00 AM. We hope you'll consider joining us to explore a new area for our club.
